We participated in HDB BTO afew years back .. We didn’t even know that we’ll be posted to Seattle… now that it’s more or less done.. we went to visit it… other blks had collected their keys , ours still not quite ready.
well..I always wanted our own place ..

we spent abt 2 days of our time trying to settle the HDB stuff.. In the end, we went to the lawyers’ office, paid $200 to sign a letter so that BH’s sister could collect the keys for us. That’s something that I do not want.. even collecting the keys is something which I wanted us to experience for ourselves 🙁 no choice… AND we are not going to ‘deflower’ the flat ourselves.. sianz…
We also spent some time looking for suitable ID and trying to work out our budget.. looks like next yr is gonna be a tough yr 🙁
haha.. of course, we need to meet up with our friend who helped us with the BIG move 🙂 Without him, we won’t have light in our bedroom and we won’t be able to move ALL our furniture! Thank you and we are v grateful!

Got to admit that this trip seem very short and rushed 🙁 I didn’t even taste my fave chicken rice my mum cooked neither did I mk a trip to Beach Rd to eat my fave Char Kway Teow
I was super glad that my mum stopped work for the 2 weeks and she lovingly prepared lunch for me. It’s simple cooking for her BUT it’s probably the most sumptuous lunch I had ever had in the past 2 yrs!!!
Visited my grandpa – I was very sad when I see him… my tears can’t stop flowing.. he looked skinnier and weaker than before 🙁 I just don’t wanna think of the worst

Together with YM, BH and I went to explore MBS – we were suppose to go for this Light Festival thingy .. HOwever, we just don’t see it? haha.. it was fun nevertheless!
