The memorial day weekend

BH had a 4 day long weekend!!! The perfect weekend started on Thursday evening when BH came home early!!! So we spontaneously went out for dinner then watched Shrek 3. Pure bliss!! 😀

Actually, we could have gone on a roadtrip or something.. but we didn’t.. ( Thankfully not, the weather was very WET) oh well, so we decided that maybe we shld go shopping? hahaha.. it was a super duper rainy long weekend 🙁 I mean.. I love my new PINK VS brolly… rain makes going out very very sianz

There’s a newly opened Lacoste outlet! WOW! BH bought 2 polo tees while I bought 1 – It’s our very first Lacoste 🙂

Saturday: because it’s still rainy… we decided that we will bake a cake

Sunshine Chiffon cake, which didn’t taste as good as we expected. The rubbish bin ate it in the end

To perk me up – this came in the mail! haha.. free sample not for me but for BH!

Ended the night with FREE DVD rental of Sherlock Holm – Love freebies!

Sunday: Still raining… So it’s DIY home improvement day!

Changed our New York decal to this cheesy quote.. hahaha.. but this decal is of good quality…took us a long time to paste it on the wall .. it looks painted doesn’t it?

Made our own canvas using fabric and wood bought from Ikea ( a few weeks ago) – Looks nice??

It was still raining… so I cooked Nasi Lemak, which was a disaster 🙁 The rice was too wet (like the weather) and milky. Eeks! BH ate it anyway. However, the sambal seafood curry saved the day! Wish my mum was here man!

Monday: Still raining but decided that we shld still go out

So… we went out for lunch, took a walk at the mall and I saw MR Q 😀

Surprisingly, after I bought Mr Q , it was sunny and the weather cleared!! hahaha… shld have bought him earlier!!!

We also went to the Folklife Festival ( we call it ‘Pasar Malam’) near our home. Very crowded.. lots of yummy and poisonous food. To think of it, it’s the 2nd time we went. ahhh… time flies… I hope it’s not my last
