We participated in HDB BTO afew years back .. We didn’t even know that we’ll be posted to Seattle… now that it’s more or less done.. we went to visit it… other blks had collected their keys , ours still not quite ready.

we spent abt 2 days of our time trying to settle the HDB stuff.. In the end, we went to the lawyers’ office, paid $200 to sign a letter so that BH’s sister could collect the keys for us. That’s something that I do not want.. even collecting the keys is something which I wanted us to experience for ourselves 🙁 no choice… AND we are not going to ‘deflower’ the flat ourselves.. sianz…
We also spent some time looking for suitable ID and trying to work out our budget.. looks like next yr is gonna be a tough yr 🙁
So when are you moving back to Singapore for good!? What’s the style for your new place?
Actually, we have no plans to come back for good yet. we wanted the flat so that we cld stay when we r back in SG.
I was thinking of something v v basic BUT my hubby thinks otherwise…. oh well…
