{"id":4213,"date":"2013-12-09T23:46:43","date_gmt":"2013-12-09T23:46:43","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/seattletimes.6eptember.com\/?p=4213"},"modified":"2013-12-09T23:49:38","modified_gmt":"2013-12-09T23:49:38","slug":"brrrr-cold","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/seattletimes.6eptember.com\/?p=4213","title":{"rendered":"brrrr.. cold"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Can&#8217;t believe that my last blog entry was over a month ago!!!<br \/>\nNOOO&#8230; I have not given up on blogging.. just that I have been sooo preoccupied everyday <\/p>\n<p>Last month, BH and I went to San Jose for <a href=\"https:\/\/winner.battlehack.org\/\" target=\"_blank\">BattleHack World Championship 2013<\/a> &#8211; BH and his team represented Seattle. Though they did not win the grand prize of $100K, I was super proud of the effort they put into their project \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n<p>In the month of NOV, I also attended 2 cooking classes with Jo. It was a fun experience. As it was hands-on, we had little pictures<\/p>\n<p>The weather here is getting cold. &#8220;Super cold&#8221; is an understatement. The word is &#8216;FREEZING&#8217;<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/seattletimes.6eptember.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/12\/WP_20131121_001.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/seattletimes.6eptember.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/12\/WP_20131121_001.jpg\" alt=\"WP_20131121_001\" width=\"533\" height=\"284\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-4214\" srcset=\"https:\/\/seattletimes.6eptember.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/12\/WP_20131121_001.jpg 533w, https:\/\/seattletimes.6eptember.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/12\/WP_20131121_001-300x159.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 533px) 100vw, 533px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The above pic shows the windscreen of my car. It&#8217;s icy! I got to scrape the ice away before I can drive! The bottled water we have inside our car FROZE too!! Really cold.. This is when I miss Singapore&#8217;s weather \ud83d\ude00<\/p>\n<p>Well, I was supposed to be back in SG this week for vacation. However, I got to change the date because of SOMETHING which I can&#8217;t reveal here ( No, not pregnant)  I spent 1k to delay the flight.. and realised that my flight next week could be overbooked! I don&#8217;t have a seat allocated to me but I am not on waiting list too. I have no idea what&#8217;s going to happen. I do want to come home for X&#8217;mas!! Wish me luck!!<\/p>\n<p>ohh&#8230; the highlight of the week was meeting my Secondary school classmate who happen to have the same birthday as me!! Her family had been relocated here too!! What are the odds right! and it was my primary school friends who told me about her.. heh..
