For our annual year end holiday, BH and I made our way to San Antonio, Texas<\/strong>.. Why San Antonio?
\n1) We have never been to Texas
\n2) NBA match there – fit our schedule
\n3) There’ Seaworld
\n4) We are claiming pts on Southwest airlines ( given by BH’s sis) so this is a ‘worth it” destination<\/p>\n

Overall, we seriously didn’t enjoy ourselves? haha.. we thought tt it’s kinda boring? well… it’s also the cheapest roadtrip we had ever made! so… erm… Here’s some highlights:<\/p>\n

1) Flight<\/strong><\/p>\n

Our flight was in the wee hrs in the morning… Julius kindly sent us to the airport… heh.. we checked in our bags (bags fly free on Southwest!! yay!) and causally had breakfast until we realised…. it was kinda late!!! so we rushed to the gate and true enuff… it was the ‘last call’ and our names were annouced on the PA system!!! anyhow, we made it in time b4 the gate closed and started our 6hrs journey to San Antonio… phew… long flight!<\/p>\n

2) Drove to our 1st NBA match<\/strong> at AT&T centre ( San Antonio Spurs vs Denver Nuggets)<\/p>\n

It’s kinda interesting to match the match live… and to hear the ‘booing’ and all…heh.. I was bz checking out TONY PARKER ( he’s the Eva Longoria’s hubby can…) who’s not cute? The pt is BH gt one of his wishlist fulfilled though he thought the match was ok only…So we left b4 the match end as we didn’t wanna be caught in the crowd…<\/p>\n

oh… we had FREE FLOW drinks, popcorn, corndogs, nachos for dinner… talking about junk food.. booo.. if i gained weight..it muz be coz of the free flow junk food \ud83d\ude41<\/p>\n

3) San Marcos outlet<\/strong>

\nOnly 1 word to describe – HUGE. There’s Gucci, Fendi, Victoria Secrets ( things looks messy & dirty), Bath & Body works and our fave RUEHL<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

RUEHL is so ex online and in retail stores.. but so cheap here manz.. heh.. so we bought alot of clothes here.. ;p<\/p>\n

4) Story: when 2 wrongs makes a right!<\/strong>
\nRem our very basic rental car? there’s no remote to lock\/unlock all the doors… means we have to manually lock\/unlock ourselves… so… at the outlet, BH and I happily gt out of the car.. and guess what??? BH LEFT THE CAR KEYS IN THE CAR<\/strong>, i was like “WHAT!!!” ( already thinking of how to scold him liaoz..) then BH tried his luck by checking if all the doors of the cars are locked… geeez…. MY SIDE OF THE DOOR WAS NT LOCKED<\/strong> heh… heng ah… we got the car keys back…<\/p>\n

I mean… shld BH be scolded for nt taking the car keys? or shld I be scolded for forgetting to lock the car door? heh…<\/p>\n

5) Seaworld<\/strong><\/p>\n

\nvery quiet… and boring… seriously, the most “unexciting” amusement park we have ever step foot on… even the shamu show is so sianz…<\/p>\n

Our fave part of the trip was feeding the dolphins.. they were insanely greedy! haha
\n\"\"<\/p>\n

6) Visited all the<\/strong> 4 missions<\/strong> …..<\/p>\n

and got myself a junior park ranger badge!! yeah!<\/p>\n

tt’s all for our trip.. think we won’t be going anywhere out of WA state anytime soon.. as we will be saving $$ to go back SG to renew visa.. heh…<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
